About Nichole Ralls
I’ve been in the tax and accounting world for almost 30 years. I started my career at a family trust company dedicated to supporting a wealthy family's needs, and I spent the next 24 years helping to grow and run a successful tax firm in Citrus Heights, CA.
After a life-changing event last year, I realized something important: when I slow down, I can actually do more. Fewer clients, more meaningful relationships, and a healthier balance between the hustle of work and time with the people I love. That shift inspired me to step out on my own and create True Tides Tax—a place where I can offer the kind of personalized, steady, authentic service that aligns with my values.
I’m a proud member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and an active leader in the California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA), where I’ve held various leadership roles throughout my 20+ years of involvement. I’m currently the Immediate Past President of the Sacramento Valley Chapter and the First Vice President of CSEA. The mentors I’ve found through CSEA have shaped my career in countless ways, and I’m passionate about giving back by sharing my knowledge and supporting others in the tax community.
When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll usually find me near the ocean—my happy place and a welcome break from the fast pace of everyday life. I also love spending time at home with my husband, our amazing kid (ok, young adult about to leave the nest and finish college), and our three cats.
